Happy New Year from TBR Books!
2025 has been a monumental year for us! We opened in September, which means we’ve been open for three and a half months so far. It feels like the time has gone by so quickly! We are excited for the new year and all of the new books coming out in 2026. We hope you’re excited, too!
Location Update
Once again, we’d like to thank you all for your patience while we wait on our permanent location. The building now has a ceiling and electricity, but we are still waiting on walls, flooring, and plumbing fixtures. Since things have been moving so slowly, we are hesitant to estimate a move-in date, but we are keeping our fingers crossed that we get in before spring. Until then, we will stay in our little pop-up location, and we hope that you will visit us here!
Book Clubs
Our current neighbor, Courage & Grace, has generously offered their location for book club meetings! If you’re interested in joining a book club, we have options! The Book Clubs we currently have available are Adult Fiction, Mystery, Nonfiction, Romance, Queer Romance, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Teen.

You do not need to purchase a book from us to join a book club. We know that purchasing a book can feel like a commitment, so you are welcome to borrow your book club books from the library or a friend. We will have them available to purchase if you want! If you’d prefer to listen to the book on audio, you can support us by purchasing your audiobooks on Libro.fm.
Favorite Reads from 2025
What did we read this past year? Great question! Lena read 52 books, and Tracy read 22. We have both chosen 5 of the best books we read to share with you!
Lena has memorialized the 52 books she read by crocheting a granny square for each book using the colors on its cover. She has connected the squares and created a very groovy sweater!
When we move into our permanent location, we plan to host a fiber arts group for similar book-themed projects!
