Book Clubs

TBR is excited to host Book Clubs starting in 2026!

Until we move into our larger store, book clubs will be meeting at Courage & Grace, right next door to our current location.

To make sure that we have the best book club options for our community, please click the banner below to fill out our short interest form! We want to know what genres you’re interested in, and what works best for you.

Thank you for filling out our questionnaire! Scroll down to find the rules, what clubs are available, and when they’re meeting!

Book Club Guidelines

Book clubs are a great way to connect with a community of fellow readers and meet people who share similar interests. We encourage you to explore the titles and clubs available to find the right fit for you. There is no fee for attending book clubs sponsored by TBR Books.

Some rules for book club:

  1. Everyone is welcome, and every opinion is valid. We will not tolerate hate speech or bullying, and anyone found in violation of this will be asked to leave.
  2. You are not required to buy the book club book from us or even read it if it’s not your style! We know not every book fits every reader, and we would hate for you to have buyer’s remorse over a book. Come anyway and see what people loved and hated about the book.
  3. Books for the following month are chosen at the end of each meeting, so come prepared with a suggestion.
  4. While our storefront is under construction, we will be meeting in alternative locations. Members will respect the space and rules of those locations.

Book Club Moderators

Thank you for considering being a moderator for book club! This is not a paid position.

  1. Moderators are responsible for helping facilitate conversation, making sure everyone feels included, and monitoring for any offensive/bullying language.
  2. Moderators are not required to purchase or read the book each month.
  3. Moderators will receive a 15% off coupon valid for one week after their book club meeting as a thank you. (Not valid on vendor merchandise.)
  4. If you can’t attend a meeting, please let a bookseller know.
