Rent the Event Room at TBR Books
Looking for a unique space to host your next gathering? Whether you’re planning a birthday celebration, book club, meeting, or special event, TBR Books offers a cozy, book-filled atmosphere perfect for bringing people together. See below for different event types and requirements for renting.
Book Clubs
Host your next book club meeting at TBR Books!
- Book clubs have an hour of meeting time in our event space. This does not include any set up time.
- We happily accept gently used book donations or purchasing at least two of the book clubs pick in exchange for reserving the event room.
- Please contact us to check room availability and schedule your meeting.
Event Room Rental
$100 for a 2-hour rental
Your reservation includes:
- 2 hours of event time
- 30 minutes before your event for setup
- 30 minutes after your event for cleanup
Event Guidelines
- Maximum occupancy: 15 guests
- Food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome.
- No alcohol permitted.
- Please leave the room in the same condition it was found.
- A dumpster is available behind the building for trash disposal.
Reservation & Payment
- A $20 deposit is required to reserve your date.
- Deposits are fully refundable if you cancel at least 7 days before your reservation.
- The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your event.
Private Book Buying Experience
Gather your friends for a private shopping and reading event!
$100 for a 2-hour experience
- 30 minutes of private shopping
- 1½ hours in our event room for reading, discussion, or socializing
A $20 deposit is required at the time of booking.
If your group spends $100 or more during the shopping portion of the event, your rental fee will be refunded.
If your group is looking for specific books, please let us know at least two weeks in advance so we have time to order them.
Birthday Parties at TBR Books
Starting a new chapter? We’d love to celebrate with you!
Make your birthday extra special with a book-themed celebration. Share a list of books you love—or books you’d love to receive—and we’ll create a special display for you and your guests to browse, discuss, and purchase.
Birthday parties follow our standard Event Room Rental guidelines.
To ensure your requested titles are available, please submit your book list at least two weeks before your party.
